Reproductive Services Technician - Eastern Marathon County, WI

Position: To provide support services to sales representatives in a manner that will maintain and grow business, enhance the company image and contribute to the achievement of the company’s goals and objectives.

Location: Eastern Marathon County, Wisconsin

Duties and Responsibilities: This person will provide insemination, heat detection, and synchronization assistance, as well as assist with beef breeding programs and recruiting new business.

Requirements: A bachelor degree is preferred but associate degree in animal science, agriculture, marketing or related area is required.  Previous experience in artificial insemination and sales is preferred.

Reproductive Services Technician

Position: Accelerated Genetics is seeking a Regional Assistant to provide support services to sales representatives in a manner that will maintain and grow business, enhance the company image and contribute to the achievement of the company’s goals and objectives. This person will provide insemination service and make direct service sales within the boundaries of the district assigned to work.

Location: Eau Claire Area

Requirements: A bachelor degree is preferred but associate degree in animal science, agriculture, marketing or related area is required. Experience in handling of animals is preferred.

Regional Program Specialist

Reports To:  : Sales & Cooperative Support Manager
Territory: Minnesota, Iowa, Southwestern Wisconsin, and South Dakota. Occasional travel outside core Midwestern states.

Description: To provide sales support and professionally represent Accelerated Genetics by assisting customers in achieving their personal performance goals through the use of Accelerated Genetics’ genetic mating and reproductive consulting programs. As well as provide sales support services to the area sales and technician team members.Area: Minnesota, Iowa, Southwestern Wisconsin, and South Dakota. Occasional travel outside core Midwestern states.

Duties and Responsibilities: This person will be responsible for the genetic development and management of herds within area utilizing the Genetic Connections programs: GEM, IMAGE and Genetic Analysis. Promote and support ReproConnections program within assigned area and assist with on-farm consulting. Utilize dairy management software (ie. DairyComp 305, etc.), to support genetic and reproduction consulting needs in area.
Requirements: A bachelor degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science or related area is required. Dairy cattle evaluation and dairy genetics knowledge is necessary. Dairy management software experience and a strong grasp of reproductive management is a plus. Solid communication skills and Microsoft Office knowledge is crucial to success in this role.

Education/Experience:

Reproduction Specialist

Description:  To provide technical service, communication, develop and coordinate training as well as provide sales support for Accelerated Genetics dairy and beef divisions for customers worldwide, through reproductive based solution support.

Key Responsibilities: 
·  Support our sales team with timely reproduction support to our customer accounts as requested.
o  Plan and carry out regular visits to key areas of the country in coordination with our Sales Manager’s to support their customers and sales team.
o  Timely response to any reproduction, fertility, sync protocols, technical services from customers and our sales team by making personal visits, phone calls, emails, text messages or any other communication methods.
o  Continue follow-up communication with customers found to have reproduction issues.
·  Coordinate the ReproConnections program to support benchmarking, find trends and opportunities with our customers, sales personnel and allied industry reproduction consultants.
o  Manage ReproConnections reporting tool and the Reproduction Snapshot powered by BoviSync.
·  Coordinate in-house reproduction data analysis including Accelerated Conception Evaluation (ACE).
o  Utilize reproductive data from Accelerated Genetics’ herds utilizing Reproduction Snapshot powered by BoviSync for sire conception and on-farm Reproductive Services Technician breeding accuracy. 
·  Training of Accelerated Genetics personnel in ReproConnections program and specifically: reproduction, fertility, synchronization protocols as well as other information to keep our sales team abreast to the latest trends.
o  Ensure key sales support staff (ie. Regional Program Specialists) are trained to support the ReproConnections Program with customers and sales staff.
·  Work with our activity monitoring system – Afimilk Silent Herdsman.
o  Assist with sales, training, and support for both customers and sales staff.
·  Represent Accelerated Genetics at national and international events and conferences (DCRC, ADSA, etc.) related to reproduction or other areas as needed
o  Keep in communication with Bovine Reproduction researchers and academic institutions in the US, and involvement of Accelerated Genetics in research projects in such areas when possible and needed
·  Write technical articles for internal Accelerated Genetics publications (ie. e-newsletters, website, etc.) and national dairy magazines (ie. Hoards Dairyman, Progressive Dairyman, etc.).
·  If requested, be able to work in coordination with International Sales Managers to provide timely reproduction technical services within their customer base.
·  Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the Sales & Cooperative Support Manager.

Qualifications/Competencies:
·  Specialization in the areas of reproductive management and artificial insemination of dairy and beef cattle. 
·  Extensive knowledge of synchronization systems using hormones approved for use in the U.S.
·  Understanding of activity monitoring systems
·  Work well in a team environment and excels in building relationships
·  Solid presentation and communication skills and results driven
·  Basic understanding of dairy and beef genetics is a plus
·  Fluent in English

Education/Experience:
·  Master’s Degree or PhD in dairy science and reproductive physiology.
o  Specialization in the areas of artificial insemination and reproductive management

Additional Information:
·  Position location is negotiable, but most central if in Administration Headquarters in Baraboo, Wisconsin
·  Hours may vary and will require evening and some weekend work depending on business need
·  Regular travel throughout the United States required – minimum of 60% travel

Reproductive Services Technician - Southeast Wisconsin

Position: Accelerated Genetics is seeking a Reproductive Service Technician to provide support services to sales representatives in a manner that will maintain and grow business, enhance the company image and contribute to the achievement of the company’s goals and objectives. This person will provide insemination, heat detection, and synchronization assistance, as well as assist with beef breeding programs and recruiting new business.

Location: Southeast WI

District Sales Representative - Idaho

We are currently looking for a District Sales Representative in Idaho.
 
Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining customer relationships which are key to the growth of Accelerated Genetics as we increase market share in the USA. You will be responsible for selling our products and providing information on new sires as well as updates on current sires. Additionally, you will be communicating other services and products offered by the company. You will be responsible for an assigned sales area to develop business plans and effective sales strategies to meet sales goals.

The ideal candidate is motivated to build new and foster current relationships, develops sales vision of area, positively promotes company’s image, as well as executing sales objectives following company standards.

Our preferred candidate has a BS degree in Agribusiness or related area with 1-5 years of sales experience; as well one year of A.I. experience. Understanding of agriculture and our farmer customers is expected. Experience and strength in written and verbal communications, strong organizational skills and strong sales competencies are required.

This is a home based position which includes regular travel within assigned area and will require evening and weekend work depending on business needs.

Payroll & Benefits Staff Accountant

Position: To provide accurate and timely processing of payroll, benefits administration and related areas for employees. Partnership with Human Resources and Finance departments to work collaboratively on associated projects.

Location: Baraboo, WI

Duties and Responsibilities: This individual will have responsibility for coordinating all data and information needed to process payroll and administer benefits for all company employees. Calculation and review of commission plans, tracking and monitoring paid time off, tracking and processing employee changes and maintain all state and federal reporting requirements.

Requirements: A bachelor degree is preferred but associates degree or equivalent experience of 2-3 years in accounting or human resources or related area is required. A minimum of 2 years payroll or benefits processing experience is required. Experience with multi-state payroll is preferred.
